Linocut + screen print, 2014, series: Blaue Stunde

This time of day, just before sunrise or sunset, when the sky turns a deep blue and everything seems to stand still, has inspired many artists. This moment offers an interesting contrast to the passing of the day. This series originated from abstract forms and the structure resulting from colour overlays and the use of various printing materials. The playful combinations of printing techniques create compositions reminiscent of landscapes, yet retaining their abstract origins.
